Practical Meditation: A Way of Life for the Individual and the Family

Definitions and explanations for meditation are many but Practical Meditation is based on the idea that life is a meditation. Most if not all of us have been absorbed in thoughts at one time or another. Sometimes we have been so absorbed that we lose awareness of ourselves; we become one with our thoughts.<br>Becoming one with our thoughts is the height of creativity and we become what we think about. The problem with untrained thinking is that we could easily drift into negative modes of thought. Generally negative thoughts are unhealthy if they are not balanced with their corresponding positive ones. My attempt is to help you to meditate on the things that bring peace to your life rather than worries.<br>Thus my purpose is to give you the tools to enable you to manage your thoughts. My belief is that once you are able to take control of your thoughts you could realize almost anything in your life! Peace of mind, purity of thought, self-control, mental alertness, emotional balance, physical strength, self-awareness, equanimity, a sense of purpose, self-confidence, good health and success are some of the many benefits to the person who manages his or her thoughts.<br>

Testaments of GOD: Write Your Sacred Text

Testaments of GOD is about writing your sacred story for the benefit of your people and the education of the world. For the past 2000 years or so most of the world has been influenced by only a few sacred texts because it has not occurred to many cultures that they could also write their own sacred texts. It seems other cultures have not ventured into the sacred text business because of an imposed psychological monopoly. Some people believe that sacred texts were sent down by God from heaven.<br>Such people would never think or even consider writing their sacred text. Ask the average believer and you will hear statements like "the Bible was inspired" or "an angel dictated the Qur'an to Prophet Mohammad" With this mindset even cultures that really need their own sacred texts would not even consider the idea.<br>The truth is that you no longer need to use a foreign sacred text for your spiritual well being. However this is not to imply that you cannot learn from foreign sacred texts; it just means that your sacred text would benefit you more than any foreign sacred text.
